The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic has changed the scope of necessary medical care and reimbursement for urgent and essential medical care for individuals who have received temporary shelter as follows:
"From September 1, 2023, the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic is altering the scope of medical assistance for adult individuals who have obtained temporary shelter due to the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine, as specified in §2 and §3 of Law No. 577/2004, of the Collection of Acts on the scope of medical care reimbursed under public health insurance and on the reimbursement of services related to the provision of medical care, as amended.
This change means that individuals granted temporary shelter will be provided with full medical coverage.
