YOU DECIDE how your TAXES are used in Slovakia

Everyone who pays taxes in Slovakia has the right to decide how their taxes will be used — at least a small portion of them. Specifically, 1%, 2%, or 3% can be allocated to a non-profit organization whose goals you share and whose activities you would like to support.

How to allocate 2% or 3% of your taxes to nonprofit organizations in Slovakia

In Slovakia, taxpayers — both individuals and legal entities — can annually allocate 2% or 3% of their income tax to registered nonprofit organizations.

🔹 2% of taxes — it's enough to indicate the selected organization in the appropriate section of the tax return.

🔹 3% of taxes — available only to those who completed at least 40 hours of volunteer work in the previous calendar year. A confirmation of volunteer activity from the organization must be attached.

In 2025, you can support, for example, the following two registered organizations:

  1. The Alena Krotova Charitable Foundation – focused on educational projects.
  2. The International Association of Doctors and Medical Professionals in Slovakia (MALnS) – implements initiatives in healthcare and professional support for medical workers.

Both organizations are registered with the Chamber of Notaries of Slovakia and are eligible to receive 2% and 3% tax allocations.

📅 As a symbolic gesture of gratitude, it has been suggested that on March 16, 2025 (Alena Krotova’s milestone birthday), those interested may support these organizations by allocating their tax share or making a donation.
